Giggle Giggle - Chase Chase

Isabela climbed up into the chair all by herself, and was so proud she turn into a little giggle monster. The quality is not great, it was filmed using the point-n-shoot camera.

Happy Halloween

Here are some pictures of Isabela in her costume. She enjoyed fluttering around the house as a Fairy and helping us give out candy to the neighborhood kids.

Cleveland Rocks!

Cousins Isabla and Jackson met for the first time in Cleveland. It was nice spending an extended weekend with Sarah and Jason and the little ones. We hung out in downtown Cleveland and made it out to President James Garfield's house.

My First Birthday

We had a joint birthday party with Sebastian turning three and Nathaniel and Isabela turning one within a month of each other. Party hats and cake were enjoyed by all. Isabela, not being a big fan of sweets, would have preferred a meat and mixed vegetable flavored frosting.

Pool Time

We took advantage of the great weather and had Isabela try out the new pool. She had fun splashing around and laughing. Hazel and I were actually able to remain relatively dry. She is getting close to 11 months old now.

Father's Day 2008

A little late in posting this, but here it goes. My first Father's Day as a dad was a lot of fun. We hung out with Cindy and the boys, and two sets of grandparents. The weather cooperated with another great summer day. Here are a few pictures - Isabela and I, Isabela testing out her new set of wheels that matches Sebastian and Nathaniel's, and Isabela enjoying a little snack.

Hanging Out With the Cousins

We spent the day over at Cindy's house. Franky's parents were up from Florida, and it had been a weeks since we had the kids together. We had a nice time lounging in the yard, playing soccer. The weather was just right and we capped off the day with a great dinner of barbecue ribs, corn on the cob, and potatoes.

The Outer Banks

We took Isabela down to the Outer Banks, NC for her first real vacation during the Memorial Day weekend. Despite being sick, she and the rest of us had a great time. We enjoyed hanging out with Sarah & Jason and their friends Ed & Jeanette.

The weather was beautiful with bright clear skies. The temperature hovered in the mid 70's during the day and got a bit cooler at night. We had a great time hanging out on the deck, beach and pool patio, playing games, cooking and just relaxing.

Isabela is still exploring new foods, and while we enjoyed a variety of seafood on the trip, she is still working through fruits and vegetables. She tried to fit in by trying some shellfish, but chose a shell on the beach for her first taste. Based on her reaction she will not be a picky eater.

We had a fun time at a mini golf place down in Kitty Hawk. Isabela hung out in the stroller most of the round, but did want to get into the action. She added a few strokes to Hazel's score card.
